COVID-19 Updates
We know these are challenging times for you and your loved ones. Like you, our utmost concern is for the health and well-being of each of our patients and to ensure our staff is healthy and able to continue to care for patients. With that being said, we continue to take all necessary cautionary measures and are strictly adhering to and implementing all CDC recommendations and guidelines. We continue to also work with local and state agencies as we fight COVID19. During this time we also recognize how important it is to keep the lines of communication open to give you peace of mind while we continue to meet the care needs of your loved ones at our facility. As such, the facility will be providing updates on new developments as they take place on this page to keep you updated.

We recognize how important it is to keep communication flowing so the facility will provide updates of new developments as they take place.
Please allow this email communication to serve as a notification that 3 or more of our residents and/or employees are exhibiting symptoms related to COVID within the last 72 hours. We are in close contact with Public Health about this development. Residents exhibiting symptoms are being kept in isolation. All employees that are exhibiting symptoms are being quarantined in their homes.

Maple HCC always strives to provide the best care to our residents, and for our staff. To keep both safe, we have quarantined one employee who tested COVID positive on 8/28/21. Mandatory testing did not reveal any other positive employees or staff. Positive staff or residents will be posted.

Today we have learned that 1 resident tested positive for COVID-19. As such, we are continuing to work with Public Health and various local agencies to stop the spread of COVID-19.

2 of our employees and 10 of our residents tested positive for Covid 19. As such, they are being closely monitored. We are also keeping in close contact with Public Health with this new development.

On 11/15/20 and 11/16/20 we have learned that 2 residents have tested positive for COVID-19. As such, we are continuing to work with Public Health and various local agencies to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Our goal is to keep all lines of communication open during this difficult time while we ensuring the safety of your loved ones and our employees. Unfortunately, we are limiting visitation until further notice.

Our facility continuously has maintained a COVID-free status for three months. We value the tremendous dedication and efforts of our staff that continues to maintain our strict Infection Control practices. We understand that families are anxious to resume visitations however restrictions are still in place until further notice. Please contact our Social Services or Activity Directors to schedule a FaceTime call with your loved ones.

Effective today the facility has been removed from a Covid Outbreak status.

Today, the facility learned that one of its employees tested positive for Covid-19. The employee is currently under quarantine at home. California Department of Public Health (“CDPH”) has been notified and all residents that the employee may have come in contact with are being closely monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Weekly Covid testing are ongoing for both residents and employees.

There are no new COVID-19 cases to date 5/15/2020 for Maple Healthcare Center.
5/8/2020
This week there were no additional residents or staff who tested positive for Covid-19. Currently, there are 27 residents in-house who have tested positive for Covid-19, and eight staff who have tested positive. The COVID-positive residents are under strict isolation precautions, and we are following all CDC and public health guidance to help prevent the spread of the virus. All residents are being monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. COVID-positive staff members will not return to work until cleared by their physician.
Know that we continue to monitor all staff members before and after each shift for signs and symptoms of Covid-19, including taking each person’s temperature. We are adhering to the infection control guidelines as outlined by public health.
